Wellness Centre

HOW IT BEGAN

The Wellness Project started in 2007 as a way to promote community health and medical awareness in aliance with the Quloobul Moe’mieneen Mosque and the Goodwood Islamic Society (GIS).
This Project was inititated by Sheikh Ebrahiem Tofa – Imaam and spiritual leader of GIS – together with resident medical practitioners.
It gained traction in 2016 when Sheikh Tofa formed a committee to evolve his vision for a fully functional medical facility. In February 2016, the first official meeting was held for the now-known Goodwood Islamic Society Wellness Centre.
